I’m a podcast consultant and award-winning producer. Most notably, I created, produced, hosted, and edited more than 1,000 episodes of Discovery’s Curiosity Daily podcast, which received numerous accolades during my tenure, including Webby Award Honoree for Best Science & Education Podcast, Best Educational Podcast at the 15th Annual Podcast Awards, and Best Science & Medicine Podcast at the 13th Annual Podcast Awards.

I’ve been involved in a LOT of other podcast projects over the years and have been credited on more than 2,000 podcast episodes (via Podchaser). This includes more than 12 years as a producer and fill-in host at WGN Radio in Chicago and lead strategy and production roles for podcasts from NerdWallet, Harvard Business Publishing, and University of Chicago. I have also coached CEOs and CMOs on podcast strategy at a number of international tech companies, including Tektronix, EMD Electronics, OpenView, MIPS, and StartHub.

I currently produce, engineer, and edit the lifestyle podcast Crafty Brewers: Tales Behind Craft Beer, which I shoot on location at breweries in and around Chicago. I also lead growth strategy for NerdWallet’s Smart Money Podcast, which was recognized as a top branded podcast in the 2023 and 2024 Quill Podcast Awards, and advise multiple B2B podcast clients on marketing and production.

Fun fact: my first ever podcast was a video game podcast called Unqualified Gamers, which later became the personality-driven lifestyle podcast Game/Life Balance U.S. I co-hosted it with a friend I’ve known for more than 30 years and it was proud member of both the GonnaGeek Network and the WGN Plus Podcast Network. We also had a sister show in Australia, which I occasionally co-hosted.
